Liverpool Vs Nottingham Forest: Match Preview And Injury News

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will be looking to get their Premier League season back on the rails with a win over relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

The Reds are set be without Calvin Ramsay, Stefan Bajcetic, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino for their upcoming game against Forest – outside of this, Liverpool have no new injury concerns.

In their last game, Liverpool hammered Leeds United at Elland Road by a score of 6-1. It was fantastic display from the Reds, who opened up the West Yorkshire outfit’s back line time and time again – their goals were scored by Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez.

Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, were beaten in their last game by Manchester United. They put forth an admirable effort, but could not resist the pressure that the Red Devils put them under. Despite a spirited performance, United won the game thanks to goals from Antony and Diogo Dalot.

When the two teams last squared off, all the way back in October, Forest emerged victorious by a score of 1-0 at the City Ground. The only goal of the afternoon was scored by Taiwo Awoniyi – can the Reds earn a modicum of revenge at Anfield?
