Heroic Liverpool goalkeeper saves from Mbappe
GK – Caoimhin Kelleher – 10/10 – The Irish international made an excellent penalty save from Mbappe to keep a clean sheet against Madrid.
LB – Andy Robertson – 8/10 – The Scotsman initially had a poor game as he gave away the penalty, however he did assist Liverpool’s second goal to rescue his game.
CB – Ibrahima Konate – 7/10 – It is strange to say, but centre-back Konate didn’t have too much to do against Real Madrid.
CB – Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10 – Like Konate, it was a quieter day than expected for Van Dijk who helped keep Liverpool’s clean sheet.
RB – Conor Bradley – 9/10 – Bradley came in for Trent Alexander-Arnold and impressed with an assist for Alexis MacAllister’s opening goal.
