Liverpool recorded their fourth win in a row on Saturday as they beat a winless Wolves 2-1 at Molineux to go top of the Premier League. 

Arne Slot’s side had a slightly more underwhelming performance, especially in midfield and defence, but were able to come away with a win despite that.

The Reds’ boss will be delighted to see his side top of the league after six matches which possibly proves that Liverpool are also in the title fight alongside Manchester City and Arsenal.

A goal from Ibrahima Konate and a penalty from Mo Salah was enough to put the game to bed despite a Wolves goal from defender Rayan Aït-Nouri.
