Liverpool are very much still in with a chance of signing Palmeiras striker Endrick, according to reports in the English media.

Earlier this month, it was claimed that the 15-year-old had decided to remain in Brazil but it is believed that the Reds remain in the battle to snap up the youngster on a pre-contract agreement when he turns 16 in July.

Palmeiras will still be owed a sizeable transfer fee, though, as Endrick can only move abroad at 18. The Brazilian side are thought to be demanding up to €40m (£33m) for the forward, who many believe has a big future in the game.

Liverpool won’t be the only team competing for the youngster, though. Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also interested, but it is Real Madrid who are currently the favourites to sign the player.

Endrick is said to be a supporter of the Spanish side, and he shares the same agent as Vinicius Jnr, who already plays for the club.
