Liverpool ‘Watching’ Ligue One Starlet Who Has Played Just 23 Senior Games

Liverpool are “watching” Lens centre-back Loic Bade, according to Le10 Sport. The French publication claims the Reds and AC Milan are both keeping close tabs on the 20-year-old.

The defender has impressed with his performances in Ligue One this season but he has very little experience of first-team football, having played only 23 games at senior level in total.

Bade made his debut for Le Harve at the back end of last season, making seven appearances before the Ligue Two campaign was curtailed following the beginning of the global health crisis.

The young centre-half moved on a free transfer to Lens in the summer, and he has already established himself as a first-team regular, having made 16 appearances this season.

Whether Bade is being looked at as one for the future, or whether sporting director Michael Edwards and his scouting team see him as being able to make an impact straight away, it is not known, but it appears he is very much on the club’s radar.
