Liverpool’s Transfer Stance On 100M Salah Replacement Revealed As United And City Prepare Bids

Liverpool will not be making a move for Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish in the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.

There had been reports that the 25-year-old was being eyed as a potential replacement for Mo Salah, but those claims are believed to be wide of the mark.

Grealish has been in excellent form this season, having racked up six goals and seven assists in 13 appearances, leading Villa to slap a £100m price tag on the England international in an attempt to ward off potential suitors.

However, even though the Reds may not be interested in stepping up their interest in the attacking midfielder, it appears both Manchester City and Manchester United could well make bids next month.

City boss Pep Guardiola has expressed his admiration for Grealish in the past while United have been tracking the player for over a year. It does seem as though Liverpool will leave it up to others to fight over him.
