Images purporting to show Liverpool’s new third kit have leaked online and it must be said not many supporters are liking Nike’s latest effort.
While the yellow design with red trim is reminiscent of a number of classic designs, the chequered pattern on the collar and sleeves has been widely criticised.
Fans on Twitter did not hold back when rating the Nike shirt, with some saying it is the worst one produced by a manufacturer for Liverpool in quite some time:
Looks horrible.

Liverpool are undoubtedly benefitting financially from the deal with Nike, with their kits being sold in more markets than they were under previous kit supplier New Balance.
However, the quality and pricing of the shirts have been questioned, and this newest kit design is unlikely to sway any supporters who believe Nike have not been able to produce kits that are reflective of the club’s reputation and heritage.
