Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Caoimhin Kelleher – made some outstanding saves against Leipzig and he could be called into action several times at the Emirates too.
RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold – his matchup with Gabriel Martinelli is always one to watch. If he can win his one-on-one duels with the Brazilian, it will give the Reds a great platform to secure a result.
CB – Ibrahima Konate – the Frenchman is in excellent form at the moment, and he will be tasked with marking Kai Havertz pretty tightly.
CB – Virgil van Dijk – the captain is still outstanding despite now being 33 years of age. Opposition teams rarely target him due to his dominance.
LB – Andy Robertson – Kostas Tsimikas has been solid when called up by Slot but the Scottish international’s mobility may lead him to get the nod, especially if Bukayo Saka is fit.
