Mane, Alisson And Fabinho Start, Kabak On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted Lineup To Play City

It has been a disastrous month for Liverpool and they head into tomorrow’s huge clash against Manchester City with their title hopes hanging by a thread.

Alisson Becker is expected to be fit after recovering from the illness which saw him miss Wednesday’s defeat versus Brighton. The Brazilian will replace Caoimhin Kelleher in goal.

In defence, much may depend on Fabinho’s fitness. The 27-year-old is a doubt for the City game, but he is favourite to start alongside Jordan Henderson at centre-back, if he is available. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will be the two fullbacks.

When it comes to midfield, manager Jurgen Klopp has very few options to change things up, but he could select Curtis Jones to give his side some fresh legs alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Thiago.

Klopp is sweating over the fitness of Sadio Mane but he may take the risk of starting the Senegalese international even if he isn’t 100% ready considering the size of the game. Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah will likely take up the other two forward positions.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester City:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Henderson, Robertson, Jones, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Salah, Firmino, Mane
