Matip, Alexander Arnold And Robertson To Start, Firmino On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brentford

Liverpool will need to treat the away game against Brentford tomorrow with some caution. The Bees have been excellent following their promotion from the Championship and they will pose a tough challenge on their own ground.

Manager Jurgen Klopp may well field his strongest available eleven for this one. Alisson will start in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson as the two fullbacks. Kostas Tsimikas performed well against both Crystal Palace and Norwich but he could drop out for this match.

Joel Matip is expected to start alongside Virgil Van Dijk in the middle of defence, with the centre-back having been rested for the last two games.

In midfield, the injuries to Naby Keita and Thiago mean that Klopp may turn to James Milner, with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho taking up the other two positions.

Up front, Roberto Firmino has returned to training but the Brazilian could start on the bench, with Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Mo Salah likely to spearhead the attack.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Brentford:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Milner, Salah, Jota, Mane
