Minamino And Origi To Start, Firmino And Salah On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted Line Up To Face Everton

Liverpool head into tomorrow’s Merseyside derby knowing a win will put them just three points away from their first league title in thirty years.

Manager Jurgen Klopp was coy when asked about the fitness of Andy Robertson and Mo Salah ahead of the game at Goodison Park, and it’s probably unlikely that we’ll see both players in the starting line up.

Alisson Becker should return in goal after recovering his fitness, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk expected to keep their places in defence.

Robertson has been involved in training this week so he could start ahead of James Milner at left-back, although it wouldn’t be a surprise if he wasn’t risked by Klopp.

In midfield, despite Naby Keita’s form in the build-up to the Premier League’s return, it would be a major surprise if Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum aren’t in the starting line up.

There could be changes up front, though. Takumi Minamino has looked fresh and with Roberto Firmino having not started in the friendly last week against Blackburn, the Japanese international could be given the nod.

Salah could well be fit but, with no need to gamble on the Egyptian’s fitness, Klopp may opt to start Divock Origi, who has an incredible record against Everton, with Sadio Mane taking up the last spot.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Mane, Minamino, Origi
