Liverpool have placed a £25m price tag on Harry Wilson, according to reports in the English media.
At least four Premier League clubs, including Newcastle, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Southampton are interested in the player plus a host of teams in Germany and Spain.
Supporters on Twitter are not sure whether selling Wilson outright would be the best move for the club:
I really don’t understand why we’re selling him. surely a replacement for the likes a lalanna and such who will leave this summer. mistake I reckon

I’d love to see how the lad gets on with us next season, he’s defo got the ability. it’s a mistake to sell him in my opinion anyway.

Set a buy back clause and sell him. He needs to be playing week in, week out

Absolutely crazy to even consider selling @harrywilson_ in my opinion. Either give him another year at Derby or even better get him in the @LFC squad next season. The boy is pure class ?

Better be a buy back clause if he goes on a cheap, some baller.

Why sell a young talent with the potential to become world class? The sensible move in my opinion would be to loan him out to a PL side to get playing time and gain PL experience.

Why are we not keeping him. Dont understand this one at all.

Wilson has been excellent during his loan spell at Derby County. His 16 goals in 42 Championship appearances have helped the Rams to the Playoff final.
However, it seems Liverpool are targeting other wingers in the summer if they do look to reinforce their forward line.
Reports suggest that Villarreal’s pacey winger Samuel Chukwueze is a player that the Reds are seriously considering this summer.
The 20-year-old scored ten goals and provided four assists in 40 appearances this season, and would be available for a price the Merseyside club are prepared to pay.
