‘Money Well Spent’ ‘Nowhere Near Good Enough’ Fans Discuss Claims That Liverpool Are Leading Race For 25M Rated Ex Arsenal Ace

Liverpool are in pole position to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen, according to reports in the Dutch media.

The Reds have been linked with the former Arsenal player in recent months, and it is believed the Netherlands international could well be available for just £25m this summer.

Malen has a great deal of pace, but there are doubts about the rest of his game, and it has led to a debate among supporters on Twitter:

Liverpool rarely buy the finished article and Malen does seem like the type of forward they would go after. The Dutchman is still young at 22 years of age, can play right across the front three and he has been in good goalscoring form.

Malen has hit the back of the net 25 times this campaign, having also provided nine assists, in 42 appearances, and his reported price tag would certainly make him a target worth considering.
