Liverpool are one of a number of clubs watching Ajax attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech, according to reports in the English media.
Ajax’s Director of Football Marc Overmars has confirmed that the 26-year-old can leave the club this summer:
“He is in focus because of his achievements in the Champions League. Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim that we would agree if there is a good transfer.”
It is believed Ziyech has a £25million release clause which can be triggered by any club with the Reds, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund all said to be keen.
Fans on Twitter would like to see the Moroccan international move to Anfield:

If that is true, then he is a good investment. Can see him improve under Klopp.

Ziyech has had a standout season having helped Ajax to the Eredivisie title and the semi-finals of the Champions League.
In 49 appearances for the Dutch club, he has scored 21 goals and provided 24 assists, mostly playing from the right-hand side of a front three.
Manager Erik ten Hag adjusted his position from last season, where he generally played as a number ten, but his flexibility to play in a range of positions could make him a useful addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
