“My Understanding…” Journalist Provides New Update As Liverpool Are Linked With Loan Swoop For Chelsea Misfit
Liverpool have “no interest” in signing Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic on loan, according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs.
It had been reported that the Reds and Newcastle are keen on recruiting the American international on a temporary basis when the January transfer window opens but Jacobs has poured cold water on those claims:
My understanding remains that Liverpool have no interest in Pulisic. His agent is exploring options, and as previously reported he’d love a move to Juventus should an offer ever come (it didn’t over the summer). #LFC have other targets.

Although Pulisic is not expected to make the switch to Anfield next month, it is looking increasingly likely that he will depart Stamford Bridge in the New Year.
Arsenal, Manchester United, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and former club Borussia Dortmund have also been mentioned as potential destinations for the 24-year-old, who has struggled for game time at Chelsea over the past couple of seasons.
The links to Liverpool are likely due to manager Jurgen Klopp, who is known to be a fan of Pulisic’s, but it seems that he isn’t a target for the Reds at the moment.
