Liverpool have been in talks with Barcelona over signing winger Ousmane Dembele on loan, according to France Football:

The French magazine claims that “negotiations are real” and, despite signing Diogo Jota from Wolves, the Reds remain keen on adding to their forward line. They have held talks with Watford for Ismaila Sarr but Dembele is also being considered.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is thought to be a big admirer of the France international, although it is believed that Barca would prefer to sell the player outright, rather than allowing him to leave on loan. With manager Ronald Koeman also said to be a fan of 23-year-old, it doesn’t seem like a deal with Liverpool is close.

Manchester United have also been linked with Dembele in recent days as they look for a potential alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and whether the Barcelona ace will actually move before the transfer window closes, it remains to be seen.
