‘Nice One Bobby’ ‘Special Player’ Liverpool Fans On Twitter Are Loving What Firmino Did Whilst Playing For Brazil

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino did his trademark no-look finish whilst playing for Brazil in the Copa America yesterday.

The 27-year-old’s work rate paid off as he charged down Peru goalkeeper Pedro Gallese’s kick before slotting the ball into an open goal:

Supporters on Twitter were enjoying Firmino’s goal:

Firmino was in excellent form during the 5-0 win. As well as scoring the second goal, he provided the assist for the fourth by slotting a through ball to fullback Dani Alves.

Brazil finished top of their group with seven points and have progressed to the quarterfinals of the competition. Their opponents could be Argentina after Lionel Messi’s side started with a loss to Colombia followed by a draw against Paraguay.

Firmino has been Brazil manager Tite’s first choice striker during the tournament so far, but he started alongside Gabriel Jesus against Peru. The Manchester City striker missed a penalty in the dying moments of the game.
