Genk midfielder Sander Berge says he would love to play at Anfield more often after experiencing the atmosphere during the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool earlier this month.
The Norwegian, who has been linked with a move to the Reds, also rates the Merseysiders as the best team in the world at the moment, as well as complementing the size of the fanbase:
“Playing at Anfield is a dream for everyone in the world, and not least for Norwegians. Liverpool are the best team [at the moment] and have the most fans. So I could certainly like to play at Anfield as often as possible.”
Supporters on Twitter think Berge is laying the groundwork for a switch to Liverpool:

It remains to be seen if Liverpool are genuine contenders to sign the 21-year-old. Manager Jurgen Klopp was complimentary about the midfielder after the game at Anfield.
Genk’s sporting director hinted that the Reds may be interested in Berge but he did say that Napoli were also considering a move for the player.
Chelsea have reportedly entered the race for the Norwegian international and if he continues to perform there may be a few more top European clubs after him as well.
