Nunez, Alexander Arnold And Tsimikas To Start, Thiago On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is hoping that the Reds can significantly improve on the performance they put in on their last visit to Amex when they take on Brighton in the FA Cup this weekend.

The 3-0 defeat earlier this month was a low point for what has been a disastrous campaign so far, but Klopp’s men could lay to rest a few demons on Sunday.

Alisson is likely to start in goal ahead of Caoimhin Kelleher, while Trent Alexander-Arnold could return at right-back ahead of James Milner, with Kostas Tsimikas deputising for Andy Roberton on the left flank.

Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez have helped to keep two consecutive clean sheets so they are expected to stay as the centre-back pairing.

In midfield, Thiago could be rested, with captain Jordan Henderson coming back into the team. Stefan Bajcetic may, however, still be favoured ahead of Fabinho, with Naby Keita also keeping his place.

Up front, Darwin Nunez should be fit enough to start, with Mo Salah and Cody Gakpo playing either side of the Uruguayan.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Brighton:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Gomez, Tsimikas, Henderson, Bajcetic, Keita, Salah, Nunez, Gakpo
