Nunez And Gomez To Start, Matip And Henderson On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Chelsea

After a morale-boosting victory against Wolves in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that his team can carry that momentum into the match against Chelsea on Saturday.

Expect plenty of personnel changes from the game at Molineux, with Alisson replacing Caiomhin Kelleher in goal. Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are also likely to come in for Kostas Tsimikas and James Milner in the fullback positions.

However, in the centre of defence, Klopp may opt to keep the pairing of Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez together, after looking solid versus Wolves, which means Joel Matip will have to be satisfied with a place on the bench.

Naby Keita could be given another starting opportunity, with Fabinho and Thiago making up the rest of the midfield three, which means captain Jordan Henderson may miss out.

Up front, it is hoped that Darwin Nunez will be fit enough to start this weekend, allowing Mo Salah to play from the right wing, with Cody Gakpo on the left flank.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Take On Chelsea:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Gomez, Robertson, Keita, Fabinho, Thiago, Salah, Nunez, Gakpo
