Nunez, Gomez And Elliott To Start, Firmino On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Palace

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could have up to eight players missing for the game against Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The Reds are sweating over the fitness of Joel Matip who has a groin problem. With Ibrahima Konate also sidelined, Joe Gomez is likely to partner Virgil van Dijk in the middle of defence.

There will be no changes in the fullback positions, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson expected to keep their places in the starting lineup.

Thiago’s injury means there could also be a shakeup in midfield. Harvey Elliott impressed after coming on against Fulham, so the 19-year-old may come into the team, with Fabinho and Jordan Henderson taking up the other two positions in the middle of the park.

Roberto Firmino could be benched after his disappointing display at Craven Cottage, meaning Darwin Nunez may get his first competitive start, with Mo Salah and Luis Diaz starting on the wings.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Crystal Palace:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Elliott, Fabinho, Henderson, Salah, Nunez, Diaz
