‘On A Free? Wow, What A Deal That Would Be’ ‘Very Talented’ Liverpool Fans React As Reliable Journalist Makes Transfer Claim

Liverpool are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt playmaker Daichi Kamada, according to Sport1 reporter Patrick Berger.

The reliable German journalist claims that the Japanese international (whose contract expires this summer) is on the Reds’ radar:

“I heard that he’s one of the players on the list for Liverpool. They want to rebuild a new team right now and they have some players, for example, one is Daichi Kamada, I believe he’s also on the list.”

Kamada’s availability on a free transfer makes him a very attractive target and fans on Twitter would be very much behind making a move for the player:

As some supporters have pointed out, Kamada has also been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund in recent days but there is one key factor that Liverpool can take advantage of.

Dortmund cannot speak directly with the player until the summer but Liverpool can hold formal talks about signing a pre-contract agreement straight away.

Kamada is still only 26, which means he is about to hit his prime years, and he is a goalscoring midfielder which is something that the Reds have not had since Philippe Coutinho left Anfield. It is certainly a transfer to keep an eye on.
