One Club Named In ‘Pole Position’ To Sign 29M Rated Brazilian Ace As Liverpool And United Circle

Bayern Munich are in “pole position” to sign Ajax winger Antony, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website claims that the Bundesliga champions are currently the frontrunners for the Brazilian international signature, with the likes of Juventus and Manchester United also in the mix.

Liverpool are not mentioned in the article but there are reports in the Brazilian media that the Reds are very much in the race to snap up Antony when the summer transfer window opens.

Other Premier League teams, including Chelsea, have also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, with it being suggested that Ajax could make him available for around €35m (£29m) at the end of the season.

Considering Antony prefers to play off the right-wing, cutting in onto his stronger left foot, you would have to think that the player is being looked at by the Reds if they do need a replacement for Mo Salah.
