Oxlade Chamberlain And Salah To Start, Keita On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play West Brom

Liverpool’s superb 7-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend means the Reds head into this busy festive period on a high. They face a West Brom side tomorrow who have a newly installed manager in Sam Allardyce.

The ex-Bolton and Newcastle boss was the last manager to win at Anfield, when his Palace side won 2-1 back in April 2017, but the Baggies aren’t in the best of shape, having lost 3-0 to Aston Villa last time out.

In terms of Liverpool’s team, Alisson is expected to be in goal, with Joel Matip and Fabinho as the centre-back partnership. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will likely start in the fullback positions.

Manager Jurgen Klopp does have more options in midfield now, following the return of James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri to full fitness, and he may opt to start Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in place of Naby Keita. Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum could take the other two roles in the middle of the park.

Up front, despite his goal against the Eagles, Takumi Minamino may have to settle for a place on the bench, with Mo Salah coming back into the starting eleven alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face West Brom:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane
