Oxlade Chamberlain To Start, Fabinho On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face United

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Fabinho and Joel Matip are fit enough to make the squad for tomorrow’s game against Manchester United.

With Matip having not played since the reverse fixture in October, it’s highly unlikely that he’ll start ahead of Joe Gomez, with Klopp expected to keep the same back four that kept a clean sheet last time out against Spurs.

It is unlikely that there will be any changes in midfield either despite Fabinho’s return to fitness. The Brazilian has not played since late November so he may have to settle for a place on the bench, with Jordan Henderson taking up the holding midfield role, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Georgino Wijnaldum just ahead of him.

Up front, Klopp will almost certainly stick with the first choice front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah with the trio having had a week’s rest following the win over Tottenham.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester United:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane
