Liverpool do hold a “significant interest” in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to The Times reporter Paul Joyce.
The journalist, who is very reliable when it comes to the Reds, has co-written a piece with Matt Lawton that details which Premier League clubs are keen to sign the England international.
It is believed that Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United would also pursue Bellingham if he became available but, at the moment, Dortmund are reportedly unwilling to let the midfielder leave.,
Other sources have claimed that Liverpool could table a bid in the region of £80m for the 18-year-old next summer, although Joyce and other more reliable sources have not confirmed this.
Bellingham already has a massive fan in Reds’ captain Jordan Henderson, who has been praising the teenager’s ability during the current international break. Whether they will be playing alongside each other at club level in the near future remains to be seen.
