Phillips And Jones To Start, Matip And Milner Out: Liverpool’s Predicted Lineup To Face West Ham

Liverpool got back to winning ways against Spurs on Thursday but it came at the cost of another injury to Joel Matip. With Fabinho also sidelined, it means the Reds head into the game against West Ham tomorrow without a fit centre-half.

Nat Phillips did a decent enough job in the second half at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and he is expected to partner Jordan Henderson in the centre of defence when they face the Hammers. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will be the fullbacks.

In midfield, James Milner could make way for Curtis Jones, with Georginio Wijnaldium and Thiago Alcantara taking up the other two positions. There is still no word as to when Naby Keita will be back available.

Manager Jurgen Klopp may be tempted to rotate the front three, with either Xherdan Shaqiri or Divock Origi coming in. However, the Premier League champions will be keen to keep some momentum from their last result so Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah could all start once again.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face West Ham:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Henderson, Robertson, Jones, Thiago, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane
