“Planning A Next Meeting…” Christian Falk Offers New Update On The Future Of Serge Gnabry

Bayern Munich are expected to hold another meeting with Serge Gnabry to try and persuade the German international into signing a new contract, according to Bild reporter Christian Falk.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Real Madrid have all been mentioned as potential suitors for Gnabry in recent weeks but in his tweet, Falk only mentions the latter two:

Whether Mo Salah’s decision to sign a new contract has ended the Reds’ interest in Gnabry, we shall have to wait and see. It should be pointed out that the 26-year-old does generally favour playing on the opposite flank to Salah so there wouldn’t be an issue in terms of competing for the same position.

However, manager Jurgen Klopp already has Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota who can play on the left wing so, at the moment, there wouldn’t really be much room for Gnabry. Perhaps if he leaves Bayern on a free transfer next year then Liverpool may make an opportunistic move to sign him.
