Liverpool are not expected to sign any big names in the summer, but we have seen in past transfer windows, with the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Alisson, that they will spend big if a good enough player is available.

Barcelona and Manchester United are said to be the clubs who are the likeliest to sign the Ajax captain at the moment. The same two teams are said to be keen on Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.

Other stars such as Gareth Bale, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic and Juventus’s Paulo Dybala are also believed to be on the move this summer.
