Liverpool are not actively pursuing a deal for PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen, according to the Liverpool Echo‘s Chief Football Writer Ian Doyle.
The journalist claims all the interest, at the moment, is coming from the Dutchman’s representative who is “pressing for a move” to the Premier League:

It must be said that Doyle has very little insider information when it comes to transfers, and only knows what the club tell him, so it’s best to take these comments with a pinch of salt.
Malen is probably on the club’s radar, considering reports about the Reds’ interest in the former Arsenal player came from reliable sources in Germany.
However, it is likely that Liverpool are looking to offload some players first, before they go after another forward. Takumi Minamino, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri have all been tipped to leave Anfield this summer, and if two or three of them are sold, it would give sporting director Michael Edwards more room to manoeuvre in terms of signing replacements.
