PSG Preparing Shock Loan Swoop For Liverpool Midfield Enforcer

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a loan offer for Liverpool midfielder Fabinho, according to Le Parisien.

The French newspaper believes the Ligue One side can tempt the Brazilian into leaving after just six months at the Merseyside club.

The Reds paid £40m to sign Fabinho from Monaco in June, and it would seem highly unlikely that they would consider letting the 24-year-old go after such a short time.

The midfielder has taken a while to adapt to Jurgen Klopp’s style of play, but he has established himself in the first team over the past couple of weeks, following the injuries to Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson.

Neither player is expected to be fit to face Arsenal tomorrow, meaning Fabinho is likely to start his third game in a row for Liverpool.

If this story had been published just a month ago, there would have been more credibility to it, but as things stand, it seems very unlikely the Brazilian international will depart Anfield any time soon.
