Paris Saint-Germain are considering Liverpool forward Sadio Mane as a possible replacement for Neymar, according to reports in the French media.
The Senegalese international has emerged as a candidate following his excellent form for the Reds this season, and because of both the attacking and defensive qualities that the 27-year-old brings to the table.
In contrast to Neymar, Mane is seen to have an excellent work ethic and would be able to provide the type of work rate which the Brazilian sorely lacks.
Neymar’s future very much remains up in the air. Barcelona are keen to sign their former player but they were unable to agree a transfer fee for the striker in the summer.
Mane, meanwhile, has expressed his desire to stay at Anfield for the rest of his career so there is certainly no guarantee that he would be interested in a move to PSG. The Senegalese star has already won the Champions League with the Reds and is looking to help them to the Premier League title this campaign.
