Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is Real Madrid’s priority target for the 2023 summer transfer window, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The 19-year-old is being watched by Liverpool, along with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, but Real’s involvement will be a major concern for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp’s side missed out on Aurelien Tchouameni after the La Liga champions entered the bidding for the Frenchman, and there will be fears that history could repeat itself with Bellingham.

Of course, a lot can happen between now and next year but it is widely believed that Bellingham will be the subject of a fierce transfer battle between elite European clubs at the end of the season.

Dortmund are not expected to let him go without a fight, though, and signing the player could be a tall order for Liverpool if the Bundesliga side do stick to their reported €120m (£101m) asking price.
