Liverpool fans have praised James Milner for his “relentless” performance against West Ham this afternoon.
Milner scooped the Man of the Match award as the Reds started the season in style with a 4-0 win at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring after just 19 minutes, before Sadio Mane made it 2-0 just before the end of the first half.
Mane added his second after 53 minutes, and Daniel Sturridge completed the scoring in the 88th minute just seconds after coming on as a late substitute.
But while their were fine performances all round the pitch, including those form Liverpool new boys Alisson and Naby Keita, it was Milner who stole the show with his tireless running in midfield and lung-busting bursts forward.
And the fans were full of admiration for the 32-year-old Englishman following his impressive display against the Hammers …

Enough hasn't been said about Milner's rejuvenation at Liverpool. Looked like he was done as a top level player when he left City. Was one of the best performers at Liverpool-particularly in UCL- despite having to play multiple positions. Will be huge this season as well.
