Liverpool are the heavy favourites to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka, according to Marca.
The Madrid-based newspaper claims that “everything indicates” that the Zambian international “will end up” at Anfield this summer, despite reports linking him with other teams.
Manchester United and Arsenal have been mentioned as potential suitors for the 22-year-old, while It was reported earlier this week that West Ham were the frontrunners to sign the forward for £25m.
Whether Marca know something that other publications don’t, it isn’t known, but we shall see over the next few weeks whether the Reds do make a formal approach for Daka.
The Merseyside club are said to be keen on strengthening their forward line and the Zambian would certainly fit the bill. The striker has had an extremely impressive season, having scored 34 goals in 42 appearances for Salzburg, although he didn’t score in four Champions League group stage fixtures.
