REPORT: Klopp Asks Liverpool To Sign Brazilian Ace Who Could Be Sold For 43M

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has recommended Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as a possible signing this summer, according to Diario Gol.

The Spanish rumour mongers claim that the Brazilian international is likely to be available for transfer, with the player having failed to reach the heights expected of him since his arrival from Santos in 2019.

It is reported that Rodrygo could be sold for around €50m (£43m) but that sort of figure is pretty high considering the 20-year-old’s pretty average record at the Bernabeu.

Eight goals and nine assists in 43 appearances is not a particularly bad return but the Brazilian has struggled to nail down a starting place during his two seasons in Spain and he is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.

There is no doubt that Liverpool’s frontline could do with an injection of youth and energy, but it remains to be seen whether the club see Rodrygo as the solution.
