REPORT: Klopp Is Keen On Signing Unsettled Chelsea Ace Who Is Finding ‘Little Space’ Under Tuchel

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is targeting a move for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website says the 20-year-old is finding “little space” under head coach Thomas Tuchel and the player could well be open to leaving Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.

Hudson-Odoi has been linked with the Reds over the past few years, but the prospect of a transfer between two title rivals does seem to be pretty remote.

The winger is reportedly unsettled at Chelsea, having had a request to leave the London club on loan to get more game time knocked back by Tuchel last month.

This season, Hudson-Odoi has made just one Premier League start, which came against Aston Villa in the 3-0 win last weekend, but he was back on the bench for the 1-0 victory over Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League midweek.

Klopp likely sees Hudson-Odoi as a solution to freshen up his forward line, with the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all close to hitting 30.
