REPORT: Liverpool, Barcelona And City All Pursuing £70m Rated Spanish Speed Merchant

Liverpool are one of three clubs keeping tabs on Wolves winger Adama Traore, according to 90min.com. The website reports that the Reds are monitoring the Spanish international but won’t consider a bid before the summer.

The 23-year-old has been in scintillating form this campaign, having scored five goals and provided seven assists in 31 games for his club. Wolves are said to have slapped a £70m price tag on the midfielder despite only paying £18m for the player eighteen months ago.

Liverpool’s interest in Traore is not that surprising considering manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his admiration for the player recently, but it would be a surprise if the Spaniard is a priority.

Takumi Minamino only joined the club earlier this month, while Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi can also provide backup for the Reds’ first-choice front three.

Traore’s unique skillset, with lightning pace and unparalleled strength, may, though, tempt the Reds into making a bid in the future.
