REPORT: Liverpool Weigh Up Offering One Of TWO Players In Potential Bid For Croatian Midfield Enforcer

Liverpool may consider proposing a part-exchange deal for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to Calciomercatoweb.it.

The Italian rumour mongers suggest that the Reds could look to use either Naby Keita or Roberto Firmino in their attempt to sign the Croatian international.

Brozovic has been linked with a move to the Premier League on and off over the past few years, with the Reds, Manchester United and Chelsea having all been credited with an interest in the midfielder.

However, the 29-year-old only signed a new contract with Inter earlier this year, and it’s unlikely that the Nerazzurri would be interested in dispensing with the services of one of their key players.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed concern about the number of injuries in his first-team squad, but he has played down talk that Liverpool will enter the market to strengthen numbers. At this stage, a move for Brozovic looks very unlikely.
