Liverpool are interested in re-signing AC Milan winger Suso, according to reports.

The 25-year-old made 21 appearances for the Reds between 2012 and 2014 before leaving for Italy in a £1m deal during the January 2015 transfer window.

Suso took a while to establish himself at the Rossoneri and was loaned out to Genoa for the second half of the 2015/16 season. However, he became an important first team player the following campaign.

For the last two and a half years, the Spanish international has developed into the Serie A club’s most creative midfielder, having scored five goals and provided eight assists in 19 appearances so far this season.

Liverpool are now reportedly considering a €40m (£36m) offer to bring Suso back to Anfield as they look to add creativity to the midfield for the second half of the season.

The Reds have also been linked with a move for former Chelsea midfielder Thorgan Hazard in recent days who, like Suso, plays on the right wing.
