REPORT: Mexican Ace Rejects Real Madrid As He ‘Loves’ Klopp And Wants Liverpool Switch

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez has turned down Real Madrid and is keen on a switch to Liverpool, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish rumour mongers claim the Mexican international has rejected a move to the Bernabeu after having had a bad experience in Madrid with Atletico.

Instead, Don Balon claim Reds manager Jurgen Klopp “wants” Jimenez and the feeling appears to be mutual as the forward “loves” the German coach and would like to be managed by him.

The 29-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal in recent months, but a move to Anfield doesn’t seem to be too likely.

Liverpool don’t tend to buy players nearing 30, while Wolves are in no desperate need to sell one of their best players. Jimenez is definitely a talent but if the Reds are to sign a new forward this summer, it will probably be someone like Timo Werner.
