Liverpool could soon be rocked by a serious bid for one of their key players – according to a report from the Daily Mail, Andy Robertson is the subject of interest from Real Madrid.

Madrid are in the hunt for a left-back, as an exit for current left-sided full-back Ferland Mendy looks to be on the cards. Should his departure become official, Robertson is one of several players that Madrid will pursue to replace the Frenchman.

According to the Mail, Madrid would be willing to pay Liverpool a tidy sum of £40 million to acquire Robertson’s services. Whether this would be enough to turn Jurgen Klopp’s head or not is, at this moment in time, unknown.
