REPORT: South American Star’s New Contract ‘Will Not Stop’ Liverpool, Chelsea And United Making Summer Bids

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are still interested in signing Moises Caicedo despite the Brighton midfielder signing a new contract, according to The Telegraph.

The Ecuadorian international has put pen to paper on an extension that will keep him at the Amex until 2027 but it is believed that it “will not stop” the Reds and others tabling bids for the player.

Arsenal made the most concerted effort to sign Caicedo during the January transfer window, having had a £70m offer rejected by the Seagulls.

However, The Telegraph claim that the Gunners won’t return with another approach for the 21-year-old in the summer, leaving the way clear for their Premier League rivals.

Brighton are now armed with a new contract so their asking price for Caicedo is likely to be astronomical. Liverpool may only consider making a formal bid for the midfielder if their attempts to recruit Jude Bellingham end in failure.
