Brazil legend Ronaldinho says Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is the perfect fit for Barcelona and believes the attacking midfielder will move to the Catalan club at some point.
Coutinho, who was heavily rumoured with a big money move to Barcelona all summer long, is still a target of the Spanish side. Barca attempted to lure him away from Liverpool and bid several times for the Brazilian, but it was to no avail.
It is reported however that they will bid once more for him in January, and former Barcelona and Brazil star Ronaldinho told Sky Sports News that he would like to see the player play at the Nou Camp.
“I would be very happy to see such a talented player wear the shirt I wore for so many years,” said Ronaldinho.
“I believe the way he plays will perfectly suit Barcelona and would be delighted to see a player of such quality wear the shirt.
“I like the way Coutinho plays and the type of football he brings. Those types of qualities will hopefully help Brazil win the next World Cup.”
Coutinho has been in fine form this season so far also, and it is no wonder why Barca continue to chase him.
