Liverpool forward Mo Salah should leave Anfield and join La Liga side Barcelona, according to former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha.

The former Nigerian international says the Reds have begun to go backwards after winning the league title last season and he thinks Salah could be revitalised if he makes the move to Spain:

“If there is a chance to join Barcelona, ​​I advise Salah to go there. His energy has run out with Liverpool. The situation is now regressing in Liverpool, and Salah must leave the Premier League.”

To be honest, Okocha’s assessment is rather poor. Barca are in financial trouble and will have little to no money to spend on players in the summer.

Salah would cost a sizeable amount, which the Spanish side won’t be able to afford, and there are very few sides in world football at the moment who would be able to prise the Egyptian away from Liverpool.
