Liverpool forward Mo Salah has claimed that friend and former teammate Dejan Lovren is not missed after sharing a video of him with new signing Kostas Tsimikas.

Lovren and Salah built a strong friendship during their three years together at Anfield, but the Croatian international’s departure for Zenit St Petersburg has left the Egyptian king with a vacancy to fill.

It seems the 28-year-old has already hit it off with Tsmikas, with Salah also aiming a cheeky dig at Lovren when sharing a video of him with the Greek fullback:

Of course, it is all very much in jest, and it is great to see that Tsimikas is already integrating into the squad with the players having only just arrived at their pre-season training camp in Austria.

The Reds had to cancel their yearly trip to Evian in France, where they usually train before the start of the campaign, due to the quarantine restrictions that have been put in place by the UK government.
