Liverpool forward Mo Salah decided to step in when he saw a group of men abusing a homeless person at a petrol station. The Egyptian confronted the men who were heckling the rough sleeper after the 3-1 win against Arsenal last week.

After stopping the abuse, he went on to give the victim £100 after withdrawing it from a cash machine in order to help him out. A still from CCTV footage can be seen below:

The incident comes only a few months after Salah decided to pay for everyone’s fuel during a stop at another petrol station, demonstrating the Liverpool star’s philanthropy and kind-hearted nature.

The 28-year-old has scored five goals in his first four league games this season, with the player the only one to come out with any credit from the 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa at the weekend.

Salah is currently not on international duty, with Egypt not due to play next until their African Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.
