Liverpool forward Mo Salah has posted pictures of himself working in the gym as he looks to overcome an ankle injury ahead of Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace.
The Egyptian international picked up the issue in the 3-1 win over Manchester City before the international break and is reportedly a major doubt for this weekend’s match at Selhurst Park.
Supporters on Twitter are keeping their fingers crossed that Salah will be fit to face Palace:

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will likely be hesitant to play the 27-year-old if he isn’t 100% fit so even if he does recover in time for Saturday, he is unlikely to start against the Eagles.
Divock Origi would be the favourite to come into the side, although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could also be a candidate after his excellent form for the Reds in recent weeks.
With Manchester City and Chelsea playing later in the day, Klopp’s men could extend their advantage over their title rivals at the top of the table by picking up three points.
