Following wins against Chelsea and MK Dons, Liverpool will be happy with their form going into their match against Sheffield United this weekend.

The Reds should be wary of Chris Wilder’s side, though, who have shown they are more than a match for opponents in the Premier League. Their 2-0 win against Everton last time out was one of their standout results of the season so far and they have also drawn away at Chelsea.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should have Sadio Mane available for Saturday. The 27-year-old picked up a knock against Chelsea but is expected to be back in training today. Alisson Becker (calf), Divock Origi (ankle), Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) and Nathaniel Clyne (knee) are all unavailable.

Sheffield United will be without captain Billy Sharp. The striker is serving a three-match ban after his sending off against Southampton. David McGoldrick is also a doubt with a groin injury.

At the bookies, Liverpool are 4/11 odds-on to win at Coral, with a draw 17/4 with Unibet. A victory for the Blades is 9/1 at William Hill.
