Should THIS be Liverpool’s starting XI at Crystal Palace tonight?

Liverpool have no fresh injury concerns ahead of tonight’s clash with Crystal Palace.

Jurgen Klopp’s men travel to Selhurst Park, where both sides will be hoping to make it two wins out of two after impressive victories on the opening weekend.

Liverpool were last weekend’s star performers as they beat West Ham United 4-0, while Palace too enjoyed a fine opening game as they beat newly promoted Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage.

The Reds are expected to remain without defender Dejan Lovren for tonight’s clash, whilst long-term absentees Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rhian Brewster also remain out.

Jurgen Klopp however has been handed a boost by the return of Joel Matip, who will offer competition for Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez at central defence.

Summer signings Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho will also both be hoping to make their first starts for the club.

For Palace, manager Roy Hodgson has a full squad to choose from, including summer signings Max Meyer, Cheikhou Kouyate, Jordan Ayew and Vicente Guaita.

Former Reds Christian Benteke and Mamadou Sakho are also likely to line-up against their former club.

“Palace are a good team,” said Klopp of tonight’s opposition.

” Roy has calmed the whole situation down there in a difficult moment, used all his experience, and now they are playing football.

“We have to make sure they cannot show their quality.”
